Pit Lane Competizioni’s line up for the TCR Italy Championship has grown up further to five cars of three different brands. The latest addition was Andrea Larini, younger brother of Touring Car legend Nicola.
Larini will make his racing comeback after four years, at the wheel of a Cupra TCR.
“Half-a-day of testing with the Cupra, following the invitation from a friend, was enough to convince me to get back to what I love more: racing! I have chosen Pit Lane and the Cupra because I want to be in a position of giving my best and staying with the top drivers. Though it won’t be easy after four years without racing and eight without driving a front-wheel drive. The first test went well and this makes me confident, but I’m eager to see how I will rank among so many fast drivers,” said Larini.
Larini adds to the drivers who had been already announced by Pit Lane Competizioni: Nicola Baldan (Hyundai), Enrico Bettera (Audi), Giovanni Altoè (Audi) and Ermanno Dionisio (Audi).
