Costas Papantonis' winning streak has no end, as the Greek driver won both races in the TCR class of the United Arab Emirates' fifth race meeting at Dubai Autodrome last Friday.
Papantonis drove his CUPRA run by Mouhritsa Racing with Dragon Racing to set the fastest lap in Qualifying, beating his son and teammate Alexandros Annivas by nine tenths.
Papantonis dominated Race 1 as he finished second overall behind Jim Geddie's Lamborghini Huracan, while Annivas was third overall, 22 seconds behind his father.
In Race 2, Papantonis had to bow again to the Lamborghini, but won the TCR class again after a close fight with Annivas who led the race in the early staged and eventually crossed the finishing line 7 seconds behind.
