Norbert Michelisz joins M1RA for TCR Europe finale

M1RA announced that Norbert Michelisz will drive alongside Dániel Nagy, in the team’s second Hyundai i30 N TCR car, during the final event of the TCR Europe Series at Barcelona this weekend.

“Anytime we have Norbi in the team is very emotional. To work together with a world class driver is an honour for everyone involved with M1RA, so we are extremely proud and excited about the race weekend in Barcelona. Now our job is to transform his experience and knowledge into results on the track. We would like to thank our sponsors and everyone who helped to make this happen,” said M1RA team principal Dávid Bári.

“Everybody knows that M1RA is more than a team for me, it is like family. As a Hyundai driver in WTCR I feel the responsibility, so I will do my best for the manufacturer, M1RA and my teammate Dániel Nagy in Barcelona. I am thankful to BRC Racing Team and Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing for supporting me in this challenge,” said Michelisz.

The weekend in Spain will be Michelisz’s comeback to the team since the WTCC vice champion drove for M1RA in Buriram last year, claiming a race victory in the TCR International Series.
