Following last weekend’s joint event of TCR South America and TCR Brasil, a pair of teams remained at Velocitta for giving the opportunity to a few Brazilian drivers to test the cars in view of a possible commitment for the next season.
Amongst them were Thaline Chicoski who competes in Copa HB and Mercedes-Benz Challenge and Felipe Junqueira who has single-seater experience who both tested the Lynk & Co 03 run by PMO Motorsport.
“It has been a good experience, as I had never driven a car so powerful. Actually, I have been very pleased with the progress in my performance during the test and with the potential of the TCR car,” said Chicoski.
Junqueira echoed: “This has been my first contact with a touring car. It has been a great challenge, especially because this car is a lot of fun to drive, it’s quick and agile. The handling is completely different from that of a single-seater and I’m still learning how to approach it. I’m very satisfied for the test and I have to say that TCR is a category that delivers spectacular events with excellent cars.”
