Yvan Muller and Yann Ehrlacher are the first two drivers signed by Lynk & Co for the second season of the Chinese brand in the WTCR; they will team up at Cyan Racing Lynk & Co.
"While we are in uncertain times with the coronavirus pandemic, what is certain we have one of the best driver duos in the world of touring car racing with Yvan and Yann," said Christian Dahl, CEO and founder of Cyan Racing. “Yvan and Yann contributed strongly to the progress and results of last year. We look forward to take on the even tougher challenge of the 2020 WTCR season together with them."
Last year Muller claimed third overall in WTCR after fighting for the world title until the last race of the season.
"Lynk & Co Cyan Racing is the right place to be. Everyone in the project, from Sweden to China, are motivated to push on for the ultimate goal of fighting for the World Title again in 2020," said Yvan Muller.
The 23-year-old Ehrlacher, Muller’s nephew, made a strong debut for the team last year, claiming six podiums to finish eighth overall.
"I am really motivated to continue with Cyan Racing Lynk & Co, and especially to do it together with Yvan," said Yann Ehrlacher. "We had some really promising results last year, but I want to win races this year and fight for the world title together with the team."
