Michelle Gatting in TCR Denmark’s inaugural event

Denmark's fastest female racing driver Michelle Gatting will take part in the inaugural event of TCR Denmark at the wheel of a Peugeot 308 run by Markussen Racing.
Gatting commented: “The opportunity arose at the last minute and we haven't had much time to prepare. However, I am very confident as Peugeot Sport comes with a set-up from France, supplemented by my Danish mechanics, so the foundation is in place. Then I have to show that, despite lack of test in the car, I have the speed to aim for good results. Fortunately, we will have time to test a little next week before the race and I can’t wait to be sitting behind the wheel of a racing car again.”
For the past four years, Michelle Gatting has been successfully racing in the European Le Mans Series.
Besides Gatting, Peugeot Sport Denmark will also support the other drivers who will be racing Peugeot 308 cars in TCR Denmark: Michael Markussen, Michael Carlsen and Johnny Vejlebo.
