The Max Kruse Racing dominated the TCR class in the fourth round of the VLN on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
The team’s two Volkswagen Golf GTI cars finished first and second in the 4-hour 50. Adenauer ADAC Rundstrecken-Trophy. Benjamin Leuchter and Andreas Gülden shared the winning car that completed 22 laps of the Nordschleife to be classified an outstanding 24th overall out of the 148 starters.
The second car, driven by Loris Prattes and Jasmin Preisig crossed the finish line four minutes behind the winners, while the podium was completed by the Lubner Motorsport Opel Astra of Roger Vögeli, Ilkka Kariste and Andrei Sidorenko a further three minutes behind.
The fourth entry in the class, the Mathilda Racing CUPRA of Matthias Wasel and Fredric Yerli that had won the previous round, retired at half distance.
The VLN will resume with round 5 on August 3rd.
