Max Hart will probably remember the TCR UK race day in Castle Combe as the worst ever in his racing career.
After being excluded for a technical infringement from the first race, which cost him the victory, the Maximum Motorsport driver was disqualified from the second race as well for hitting another car. This vanished his recovery from the last spot on the starting grid to the third place under the chequered flag that was inherited by Bruce Winfield.
To add insult to injury, Hart was also given four penalty points.
As a consequence, Lewis Kent’s leadership in the standings grew to 28 points ahead of his brother and teammate Bradley, while Winfield moved into third, five further points adrift.
