Matsumoto to stay with Team Wakayama in TCR Japan

Takeshi Matsumoto, the winner of the Sunday Series title in TCR Japan’s inaugural season will return to the championship this year.
The 32-year-old driver will race again in a Volkswagen Golf GTI run by Team Wakayama with the support of the local dealer.
“Although I won the Sunday Series title in 2019, I was not able to achieve any race victories. So this is my goal for 2020, winning races and fighting for the overall title as well,” said Matsumoto.
