Mathiassen in TCR Denmark with Insight Racing

Jacob Mathiassen will compete in the inaugural season of TCR Denmark, driving an Alfa Romeo Giulietta for Insight Racing, the same team that helped him secure the 2018 Danish DS3 Cup championship.

“I’m back in Denmark again, and I can’t imagine a better place to be than with Insight Racing. They have been by my side since we won the Citroën DS3 Cup in 2016. It’s great for me to be back with these guys,” said Mathiassen who is heading into the series with high expectations. “TCR requires a different style of driving compared to the GT cars, but it’s been progressing fast and I have got a great feeling already. We need to be at the front of the grid and battle for the championship. I don’t believe we have shown our full potential during last week’s test.”

The TCR Denmark kicks off this weekend at FDM Jyllandsringen.
