Mat’o Homola in TCR Europe with Jantar Team

Mat’o Homola will switch to Jantar Team for his campaign in the 2021 TCR Europe championship. The Slovak driver will be at the wheel of a Hyundai i30 N car once again.

“We’ve already started testing the car and I have been working out the last couple of months to be in great shape. I know what I want to achieve, and I believe we can make it this year,” said Homola who will run under the banner of MaxxMotion TCR Europe Slovakia Ring. “What makes me happy is the Czech and Slovak background of the team. It makes me even prouder to represent Slovakia with my name and a new team. It definitely boosts the motivation.”

The brand-new Jantar Team will work together with Janik Motorsport, and Homola is also taking a new role as a mentor for the 19-year-old Czech driver Jáchym Galáš.
“Jáchym wants to improve and I’m confident that our collaboration will help the both of us to move forward,” Homola explained.
