Massimiliano Chini will compete for the DSG Trophy of TCR Italy; he will drive a Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR run by the NOS-Ermete Racing team.
"I can’t wait for the championship to start, I am really motivated. I have worked very much during the winter, with fitness and testing. I think the DSG Trophy is the ideal dimension for amateur drivers. We are given the opportunity to fight for a title and yet racing together the professionals. It’s easy to predict that competition on the track will be tough, because the TCR Italy has grown a lot in the two latest years,” said Chini who is facing the sixteenth season with the team directed by Massimo Poli.
The highlight of Chini’s racing career was the 2014 title in the Second Division of the Italian Touring Endurance Championship with a SEAT León Supercópa; he began driving TCR cars in 2016, taking part in some events of the Italian series with a SEAT León Cup Racer.
