The 2018 Super GT Denmark champion Martin Andersen will be at the wheel of a Hyundai i30 N in the 2020 TCR Denmark series.
“The programme is run in co-operation with Hyundai Denmark. The plan for this year is to race a single car, and I am super proud that they wanted me to drive it. It is a great opportunity for me to work with a brand who has won the WTCR two years in a row,” said Andersen
Andersen spent the last five seasons at the wheel of GT cars, but had moved his first steps in motor racing in the SEAT León Supercópa back in 2014.
“This is a very open championship that allows us to do a lot of racing in Denmark and beyond if we want to, and the whole setup with a strong calendar and officials from FIA makes very good sense to me. We are aiming for a top-five result that, I believe, it is a realistic goal.”
