Jac Constable took his maiden TCR UK win in the first race at Oulton Park. Constable and his CUPRA beat the sister car of Alex Morgan who completed a 1-2 for Power Maxed Racing, while Bradley Kent claimed the final spot on the podium.
Morgan made good use of the pole position to take the lead at the start from Constable, Hart and Bradley Kent who pipped his brother Lewis and moved into P4. As Morgan tried to pull away, Dan Kirby passed Bruce Winfield for P6.
Three duels developed over the following laps: Hart was defending the third place from Bradley Kent, William Butler was chasing Bruce Winfield for P7, Morgan and Costable began battling for the lead.
Constable got closer and closer until he managed to pass Morgan in lap 8 and then pulled away. Morgan found himself chased by Hart and Bradley Kent, with Lewis Kent following in fifth position.
Bradley Kent overtook Hart for P3 in lap 12 and made a last-gasp attempt to steal second from Morgan. As Constable won the race by nine seconds, Morgan retained the second place, beating Bradley Kent and Hart on the line by tree and six tenths respectively. Butler stopped on the track during the penultimate lap while he was running eighth.
With guest driver Morgan not eligible to score, Bradley Kent, Hart and Lewis Kent were awarded the points for second, third and fourth respectively.
In the standings, Lewis Kent has a margin of 46 points over his brother, while Hart lies a further three points adrift.
