The LUKOIL Racing has entered three cars in the 2018 TCR Russia championship for Aleksey Dudukalo, Klim Gavrilov and Ivan Lukashevich.
After running SEAT cars in the three previous seasons, the team has made a partial switch to the Audi RS3 LMS model, as two of them have been entrusted to Dudukalo and Gavrilov, while Lukashevich will be driving a SEAT León DSG.
Lukashevich, twice a Russian karting champion, has already raced in different single-seater categories such as GP3, Formula Renault and Formula Palmer Audi. He joined LUKOIL Racing last year for competing in the Mit Jet 2L Cup in which he was crowned champion with 11 victories out of 12 races.
Gavrilov joined LUKOIL Racing in 2017 as well, for his rookie season in TCR Russia. Despite being the youngest driver in the field he was impressive and claimed one race victory, two podium results and one pole position.
Dudukalo is one of the most successful Touring Car drivers in Russia; he was a podium finisher in the FIA World Championship and a multi-national champion in ice and circuit racing.
The TCR Russia championship kicks off this weekend at Fort Grozny.
