Luca Engstler will defend the TCR Asia title

Days after Luca Engstler was crowned champion of the inaugural TCR Malaysia championship, Engstler Motorsport announced the plan to defend both the TCR Asia Drivers’ and Teams’ titles.
Luca Engstler – who won the 2018 championship at the wheel of a Volkswagen Golf GTI – will be the leading driver once again but in a Hyundai i30 N.
In fact, the German company has been named official parts agent for Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing for the TCR Asia Series.

Franz Engstler, Owner of Engstler Motorsport, commented: "We have been active in motorsport in Asia for many years and feel very close to racing here too. We are very pleased that we are now official partner for Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing for the TCR Asia Series. We rely on Hyundai and look forward to this new task."
