Lewis Kent is ready for a third consecutive season in TCR UK championship with the aim of clinching the title.
After Kent finishing fifth in the 2018 inaugural season, Kent returned in 2019, scoring three race victories and ending as runner-up behind James Turkington.
In 2020 Kent will race again in a Hyundai i30 N car run by the Essex & Kent Motorsport.
“This season we’ll look to take the same attitude that we adopted last year and extend our knowledge of the Hyundai. Hopefully we can go for the championship title,” he said.
After making a one-off appearance in the 2019 TCR Europe Series at Spa, Kent is keen to repeat the experience. “We definitely wish to add more events elsewhere this year. We’re looking into Spa now and getting that all booked in, and then we are going to see what other events are on offer and what we can do.”
The Essex & Kent Motorsport is also looking for a driver to run a second Hyundai car in the TCR UK.
