Evgenii Leonov was crowned champion in the TCR class of the Campeonato de España Resistencia.
Sharing his Volcano Motorsport CUPRA with Mikel Azcona, the Russian driver won the last race of the season at Motorland Aragón beating Ferrán Méndez by four seconds, while Guillermo Aso completed the podium.
Felipe and Raúl Fernández had won Race 1 on their first outing in the RC2 Junior Team CUPRA Leon Competitición; they finished six seconds ahead of Leonov-Azcona who were dropped to fourth by a 27-second penalty for track limit infringements. This promoted Aso to second and Didac Ros-Pedro Peña to third.
In the final standings, Azcona was classified second behind Leonov, while Méndez moved into the third position.
