KC Motorgroup announced the participation in the 24H Dubai, opening event of the 24H Series that will take place from 9th to 11th January.
After a successful season with the Honda Civic cars across the WTCR, TCR Japan and Super Taikyu series, the Hong Kong-based outfit will return to the Dubai enduro with an unchanged driver line-up.
Team founder Paul Ip will share driving duties at the wheel of the team’s Civic FK8 with Jim Ka To, 2016 TCR Series Asia champion Andy Yan, Kenneth Ma and Henry Lee Jr.
Ip said: “The Dubai 24 Hours is the perfect place for KCMG to kick off its 2020 campaign, a challenging endurance race with a beautiful setting. In the previous event we showed strong pace so we have an unchanged line-up to make sure we still have that advantage. We will benefit from an extra year’s racing experience under our belts too, which should also help us. Our ambitions are high once again, and we believe with a clean race we can achieve those goals.”
