A guest-star in the sixth event of the Italian Touring Endurance Championship at Misano, Jordi Gené dominated yesterday’s qualifying and won pole position for both the races that will take place today and tomorrow.
The Spaniard, who was invited by SEAT Motorsport Italy to help Valentina Albanese in her title fight, set the fastest laps of 1:55.254 and 1:54.782 in the two Qualifying sessions that took place on a damp track. On both occasions Albanese qualified in second position with times of 1:56.253 and 1:55.782 respectively.
The first race will start today at 15.20, while the second one Sunday at 9.00 (local times); bot will be streamed live at www.acisportitalia.it.
