Jessica Bäckman to represent Sweden at Vallelunga

To conclude an intense and successful racing season, Jessica Bäckman will represent Sweden at Vallelunga in the FIA Motorsport Games’ Touring Car Cup. The only lady driver in the field, she will be at the wheel of the Target Competion Hyundai i30 N she drove in the TCR Europe series.

“I’m very happy with the opportunity to represent my country in a big event like the FIA Motorsport Games. The track looks awesome, it has some fast and flowing sections as well as slow tricky sections where you need a smooth driving style. The event will be special with a lot of good level drivers from different countries and will be a perfect way to end the season,” said Jessica.

In only her second Touring Car season, Jessica Bäckman claimed several podium results: after finishing third position at Hockenheim in TCR Europe she made guest participations in TCR Scandinavia and TCR Germany that resulted in another third place at Anderstorp and a second at Hockenheim.
