Jenson Brickley, the reigning champion of the Airtec Motorsport Fiesta ST240 cup, will step up to TCR UK in a CUPRA Leon Competición.
Brickley has previously been crowned as champion in 2018 in both the British Stock Car Championship and European Stock Car Championship, before moving to the BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship in 2020, where he became the champion the following year.
Starting his first season with the latest generation CUPRA Leon Competición TCR, which was previously run by Volcano Motorsport in TCR Europe, Brickley has an intensive testing programme planned.
“I’m looking to hit the ground running as soon as I can, using the first couple of rounds to make sure I finish and get used to the racing as TCR UK is an extremely competitive championship. As I get more seat time, I’m looking to make sure that I get some top-five finishes by the end of the year,” explained Brickley. “TCR UK has really grown over the last two years, and this is a natural step up from racing in the Fiesta series. I’m really excited to get started!”
