Jakob Mathiassen to stay with Insight Racing in 2021

After a successful season in the inaugural TCR Denmark championship, Jakob Mathiassen will race again in the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce entered by Insight Racing in 2021. 
“It has been really good to get into TCR Denmark. From the very start the series showed a really strong competition, with a good, international participation. I can see a bright future,” said Mathiassen who was a title contender in the 2020 season and eventually was classified fifth in the championship with two race wins.

“I am super happy to be able to continue with Insight Racing for next year. I had a good season, considering that I was driving one the field's oldest cars. I think that, as a team, we have something good to build on in 2021 racing a brand-new Alfa Romeo car. At the same time, having the plans in place now, gives us calm. Of course, there is a lot of sponsorship work left, but now there is something to work on, which is a really good feeling before the winter break.”
