Multiple TCR UK race winner Jac Constable returns for his third season in the championship, as for 2023, he moves to Rob Boston Racing, driving an Audi RS 3 LMS Generation 2.
Rob Boston Racing will make their debut in 2023 in TCR UK, having already seen success in previous championships such as the Ginetta GT4 Supercup as well as securing the 2022 British Endurance Championship, 2022 BRSCC Mazda MX-5 SuperCup and Mazda MX-5 Championship.
Having been in the title fight for the last two seasons, 2023 provides Constable with a new team, a new car and a new opportunity to go out and try to claim that elusive title. He finished sixth in the driver’s championship in 2021 and then went one better with fifth place in last year’s standings.
“I’m looking forward to the new season and having tested the car recently, I’m already impressed with the new Audi. It felt fast right out of the box, and I have the confidence that I can push the car already, knowing that there is more seat time to come before the season starts in April,” explained Constable. “Working with Rob Boston and the team has given me a new challenge but also a new goal: To go out and fight for the 2023 TCR UK title.”
Team Principal Rob Boston said: “We have kept an eye on TCR UK as it flourished over the past two seasons and I’m very excited to be able to have the chance to be a part of the grid in 2023. To be able to arrive as a new team with a brand new TCR car and an accomplished race winner like Jac is a great way to begin for us.”
