Huff joins TeamWork Motorsport for TCR Malaysia opener

Teamwork Motorsport has signed Rob Huff for the opening round of TCR Malaysia that takes place this weekend at Sepang International Circuit.
Huff has worked with TeamWork Motorsport since 2013, assisting with driver development and coaching, as well as technical development of different race cars, most recently the double-Macau winning Peugeot RCZ and Subaru WRX STi, which won both classes of the 2018 Macau Touring Car Cup.
However, Huff has never had the opportunity to race under the TeamWork Motorsport banner, until now.

"It's a fantastic opportunity to race for TeamWork Motorsport, a team I've worked with behind the scenes for a number of years. I first met their lead drivers Alex Hui and Sunny Wong when I won the title in 2012 at Macau, and we've become good friends and developed a number of successful projects over the years. After two months away from the wheel, I'm really looking forward to the trip to Malaysia and the aim is to get some good results," said the former World Touring Car champion.

The team will be fielding the Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR with which they won the 2018 TCR China Touring Car Championship and is yet to confirm who will drive the car in the second and third rounds.
