Gustav Birch joins TCR Europe for the Zandvoort event

Danish youngster Gustav Birch will join the TCR Europe championship for the following race meeting at Circuit Zandvoort on June 18/20.
Birch, who will turn 18 in July, will be driving a Peugeot 308 run by Denmark-based Brianmadsen Sport.
After a successful karting career, Birch switched to car racing in 2019, when he made three appearances in the Danish Special Saloon Car series. Last year he continued in the SSC at the wheel of a Porsche 911 GT3 to finish sixth in the standings of the Extreme class. With the same car he also took part in the Danish Endurance series, ending the season as runner up in Division 4.
This year he joined Brian Madsen’s team to race in the TCR Denmark championship.
Brianmadsen Sport will run three 308 cars in TCR Denmark, representing Peugeot Sport Denmark, for Birch, Casper Elgaard and Johnny Vejlebo.
