Jordan Cox has been confirmed as the driver of one of Garry Rogers Motorsport's Alfa Romeo Giulietta for the remaining events of TCR Australia.
Cox had been called by the team to replace Jimmy Vernon in the series' previous event at Queensland Raceway where he finished each of the three races inside the top six. As GRM and Vernon amicably partied ways, it was logical for the team to secure Cox's services for the rest of the season.
“It’s one of the biggest opportunities I’ve had in my career. It’s great to be in a position where I can solely focus on driving the car and achieving the results,” said Cox.
GRM's Barry Rogers added: “We have been impressed with his ability over the years and our engineers have been impressed with his work ethic. He is a mature young guy and is very hands on.”
