After making his debut in the final rounds of 2022 at Snetterton, George Jaxon will take on his first full season in TCR UK in 2023 with JWB Motorsport.
Jaxon will drive a CUPRA Leon Competición after making his debut in an older CUPRA TCR last year, with a full pre-season test programme planned to get used to his new car.
“My experience at Snetterton last year showed me that the best way forward for my racing career was in TCR UK and I’m excited to have put a deal in place to drive one of the new CUPRA Leon Competición with Nick Beaumont’s squad, JWB Motorsport,” explained Jaxon. “I’ve been watching previous seasons’ races and TCR UK has seen growth in both 2021 and 2022 and I can’t wait to go racing full-time in 2023. I’ve got a full programme of testing in place to make sure that I can close in on my aim of taking regular top ten race finishes and maybe, the odd reverse gird pole position!”
