Experienced Supercars race winner Fabian Coulthard will make his debut in TCR Australia at Symmons Plains, driving a Honda Civic Type R run by Wall Racing.
In this one-off appearance, Coulthard’s car will be carrying support from Stan Sport – the new broadcaster of TCR Australia – that is kickstarting its new multi-year broadcast deal in a big way.
Coulthard will reunite with former Supercars co-driver Tony D’Alberto at Wall Racing.
Despite his vast experience in a variety of categories, the New Zealander’s TCR debut at Symmons Plains marks his first front-wheel-drive racing experience.
“It’s an exciting opportunity to guest drive in TCR,” said Coulthard. “The team is very professional and is the perfect way to sample what TCR is all about. I’ll be looking to get some tips from my old mate Tony D’Alberto and I’m excited to partner with him again.”
