Belgium-based DG Sport Compétition will enter two Peugeot 308 TCR cars in the new WTCR, the FIA World Touring Car Cup.
"I am very confident in the potential of the new TCR car produced by Peugeot Sport and I am sure that we will be able to announce our line-up quickly," said team principal Christian Jupsin. "The increase of the budget in WTCR compared to the TCR International Series forces us to postpone the finalization of our participation. It is clear that the visibility and return for sponsors and partners will be higher, which will certainly help us to finalize the project."
In 2017 DG Sport Compétition ran Peugeot 308 Racing Cup cars in the TCR Benelux – claiming three race wins – and the TCR Europe Trophy at Adria, where Aurélien Comte clinched the title for the team.
