De Jesus imitates his co-driver and wins Race 2

The MacPro Racing Honda Civic #88 won again, as Eurico De Jesus imitated his co-driver Henry Ho and claimed victory in TCR China Race 2 at Ningbo International Speedpark.
Unlike Ho, who took the lead halfway through the race in the previous round, De Jesus sprinted from third on the grid, squeezed between the two cars on the front row and never looked back.
Behind him, Li Lin progressed from the last spot of the grid to fourth during the opening lap, while Zhou Bi Huang’s CUS Racing Volkswagen Golf GTI and pole sitter Sunny Wong in the TeamWork Motorsport Golf GTI were running second and third.
Li Lin overtook both, Wong and Zhou to take the second place, then between lap 3 and 4 the race lost three of the main contenders as Wong pitted with a flat front tyre and rejoined two laps down, while Zhou and Paul Poon in the TeamWork Audi retired with technical issues.
In the second half of the race, De Jesus pulled away, while Li Lin successfully defended the second place from Filipe de Souza in the T.A. Motorsport Audi. Miguel Kong finished fourth in MacPro’s second Civic.
These results helped the Honda #88 to stretch its leading margin in the standings to 21 points over the TeamWork Golf #11.
