Darelle Wilson will take part in his sixth consecutive season of TCR UK as he returns for 2023, back at the wheel of his Vauxhall Astra.
Wilson has campaigned the Astra since TCR UK began back in 2018 and over each season has shown the speed that finally yielded that first race win at Castle Combe in 2021.
Whilst 2022 was a difficult year as he struggled with gearbox issues all season long, Wilson returns with renewed confidence after a winter that has seen a lot of work take place on the Astra.
“I’m excited to get back in the car and to show that we’ve moved on from last season, when we struggled with several issues on the car. The championship has moved on so much since I competed in the first season back in 2018 and to see the arrival of the new driver’s teams and second-generation cars is great. However, I know I can extract the best out of the Astra and I look forward to a better 2023 season,” said Wilson.
The team has a second Vauxhall Astra that they are ready to run and is happy to take enquiries about running it car during the year.
