Cosimo Barberini in TCR Europe with a Subaru

Double Abarth Trophy champion Cosimo Barberini will join the TCR Europe field at Monza, at the wheel of a Subaru WRX STI TCR run by NOS Racing.
Barberini, 28-year old, is currently on his way for clinching a third consecutive title in the Abarth Trophy. His previous experience with TCR cars dates back to last year, when he took part in a few events of TCR Italy in a NOS Racing SEAT León and then drove a V-Action Racing Alfa Romeo Giulietta in the TCR Germany finale at Hockenheim.

Team Principal Massimo Poli explained: “It’s a great opportunity for Cosimo and our team to take the first steps in international Touring Car racing. We have a good cooperation with Top Run and Cosimo is a very fast driver and deserves an opportunity to grow up further at an international level. We would like to take part in the series’ finale at Barcelona and have the ambitions to set up a full programme for next year. We are very much looking forward to the Monza weekend and hope we can make a good show.”
