Clay Richards to drive a Peugeot at Sandown Park

After making his TCR Australia debut at Winton, where he replaced Will Brown in an Audi RS 3 LMS, Clay Richards will return to the championship for the next event at Sandown Park on 8/9 September.

Richard will drive a Peugeot 308 in an extended five-car line-up for Garry Rogers Motorsport alongside the team’s regulars Ben Bargwanna, Aaron Cameron, Jordan Cox and Kody Garland.

“It’s great to have the Richards name back at GRM. My dad raced with Garry Rogers Motorsport when he first entered Supercars and also my grandad as well. I absolutely loved my time at Winton. Getting a podium on debut was really cool and to also get this chance with Garry Rogers Motorsport as well. Sandown is a happy hunting ground for the Peugeot cars, with Ben getting a win there last year but my main focus is to learn as much as I can as the 308 TCR is a lot different to the Audi I drove at Winton,” said Richards.
