Chris Smiley enters TCR UK with Restart Racing

Touring car expert Chris Smiley joins TCR UK for the 2022 season in a Honda Civic Type R for new team Restart Racing.
“It’s a fresh challenge for me with a brand-new team and a brand-new car, but we have everything in place to get our season off to a positive start. I’m very confident in the team and looking forward to getting to grips with the new car,” Smiley said.
Smiley, 30-years old, was crowned champion in the 2013 MINI Challenge and then moved up to the British Touring Car Championship from 2016. He scored one race win in 2018 on his way to finish 13th in the Drivers’ standings.
