TCR Denmark's second race meeting at Jyllandsringen will see Jan Magnussen trying to extend his winning streak. The former F1 driver anninhilated the field in the season opener at Ring Djursland, winning all the three races of the weekend at the wheel of his LM Racing CUPRA Leon Competición and building a healthy 28-point lead in the standings over Kasper H. Jensen.
The reigning champion and his Massive Motorsport Honda Civic Type R are followed by Casper Elgaard (Brian Madsen Motorsport, Peugeot 308) and Jacob Mathiassen (Insight Racing, Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce) with gaps of 33 and 46 points from the leader.
Magnussen's teammate Nicolai Sylvest is eager to make up from a disappointing start of the season in which he finished second in Race 1, but then retired after an incident in Race 2 and did not even start in Race 3.
