Bruce Winfield steps up a gear for TCR UK campaign

The 2021 TCR UK runner-up, Bruce Winfield will return to the series for this season but will step up to a CUPRA TCR with a sequential gearbox after driving a DSG-equipped car last year.
He has already tested his new car which will be run by Area Motorsport, the team with which he came close to claiming the 2021 TCR UK title.
Winfield said: “Last year we had a great season. We didn’t expect to be taking podiums or taking race wins; TCR UK was a new series for me and the team and normally things take time to bed in, however we were able to improve quickly and make some good progress in the second half of the year. With the CUPRA TCR SEQ I‘m looking to perform better than last year.”
