Bradley Kent will start his third season in TCR UK behind the wheel of the Hyundai Veloster N, which his brother and two-time TCR UK champion, Lewis took to two race wins in 2022. Bradley will switch from the Hyundai i30 N which he has driven for the last two seasons.
Following a dismal 2022 in which he suffered from nine DNFs, Bradley Kent looks to return to his 2021 form, when he was in contention for the title right up until the final race.
Staying with his family run team Essex and Kent Motorsport, Bradley is confident that he can show the competitive nature of the Hyundai Veloster N.
“2022 was a challenging year for me and it’s now fully behind me as I look towards 2023. I’ve reset my expectations for this season, as we look to extract the maximum out of the Veloster. Having a season of experience with the car means we can now work from a better base setup to go racing with,” explained Bradley. “It’s clear that TCR UK has stepped up another level for 2023 with the new cars, team and drivers coming on board, however, our advantage is that we are not starting from scratch with a new car. We aim to hit the ground running and keep our DNFs to a minimum as I aim to be one of the front runners in 2023.”
