Repeating his performance in free practice, Bradley Kent won the Qualifying for Race 1 in Brands Hatch during the third weekend of the TCR UK championship.
The Essex & Kent Motorsport driver’s best lap time was 49.724. Kent had already been the fastest in the Free Practice, but during he was able to improve further during the Qualifying with his Hyundai i30 N TCR.
Max Hart was the first out on the road for the 15-minute session on Saturday afternoon, but Maximum Motorsport’s Irish competitor’s time was not fast enough to keep the pole position.
The second third of the session was dominated by the Kent brothers who were fighting with Bruce Winfield, who was also involved in the battle for the pole position.
The order of the top-five evolved during the last five minutes with Winfield moving into P2, three tenths behind Bradley and six hundredths of a second ahead of Lewis, while Hart slipped down to fourth.
The first race will take place the afternoon, at 15:55 local time (16:55 CEST).
