Bennani and Taoufik join Comtoyou for TCR Europe

Mehdi Bennani and Sami Taoufik will join Nicolas Baert to complete Comtoyou Racing’s three-car line-up in the 2020 TCR Europe series. They will be at the wheel of Audi RS 3 LMS cars.
A former race winner in the Touring Car World Championship, Bennani will be one of the main contenders for the TCR Europe title and will also act as the tutor of his young teammates, Baert (19) and Taoufik (18).
Baert had his TCR baptism earlier this year, when he took part in the 24H Portimão, sharing the Comtoyou Audi with Tom Coronel and Nathanaël Berthon, when they completed the race in second position. 
As for Taoufik, who had won the 2016 European Karting Championship at the age of 16, he made a couple of appearances for Comtoyou Racing last year in TCR Germany at Sachsenring and TCR Europe at Monza.
