TCR Australia resumes at Bathurst's Mount Panorama for the third event of the season.
On Saturday, competitors will take part in the qualifying at 12:20 local time (04:20 CEST) and then in Race 1 at 14:45 (06:45 CEST) and Race 2 at 17:10 (09:10 CEST). Race 3 will start Sunday at 10:10 (02_10 CEST).
Tony D'Alberto (Wall Racing, Honda Civic Type R) leads the standings after the first two race meetings on 224 points, only two clear of Jordan Cox (GR Motorsport, Peugeot 308), while Zac Soutar (Soutar Motorsport, Honda) lies in third position, 21 further points adrift.
Fabian Coulthard (Wall Racing, Honda) and Jay Hanson (MPC, Audi RS 3 LMS TCR) who have scored two race wins apiece so far, are placed fourth and fifth with gaps of 26 and 36 points respectively; however, Coulthard will be replaced by Tim Slade after testing positive to the COVID-19.
The event will mark the first appearance in the current season for Luke King – fourth classified in last year’s championship – who will drive a Hyundai i30 N for DashSport.
In the series previous visit at Bathurst, last year in November, Cox scored two victories at the wheel of a GRM-run Alfa Romeo Giulietta, while Aaron Cameron won the first race in his Peugeot.
