Baldan in TCR Italy and WTCR with Target Competition

2017 TCR Italy champion Nicola Baldan will face a busy year, racing in the full season of the Italian championship and in two events of the WTCR.
Baldan will drive for Target Competition at the wheel of a Hyundai i30 N car in TCR Italy, but he will switch to a Hyundai Elantra N in the WTCR events at Adria and Hungaroring.

“I’m really up! We face a very challenging commitment. I love TCR competition and wanted to come back full time to it. Having the opportunity to do so with a professional team like Target and with the Hyundai cars gives me extra motivations. I couldn’t ask for more. Our goal is clear in TCR Italy, resuming the path that was disrupted by my incident at Imola three years ago and reclaiming the title!” said Baldan. “On top of this, the opportunity of joining WTCR for two events is a dream that comes true. I have been waiting this for years, I know it will be very tough, but it’s a unique chance that couldn’t be missed.”
