After setting pole position at Grobnik in the TCR Eastern Europe’s season opener, Dušan Borković repeated himself at the Slovakia Ring.
The Serb beat Austrian newcomer Sandro Soubek who was especially impressive at the wheel of his Audi by setting the fastest lap in the morning Free Practice and qualifying second, five tenths behind Borkovič.
Last year vice-champion Jáchym Galáš posted the third fastest lap, although with a gap of nine tenths from the pole sitter; he was followed by Dušan Kouřil, who celebrated his first victory in TCR Eastern Europe at the Slovakia Ring last year, and Petr Čížek with the brand new CUPRA Leon Competición in fourth and fifth positions.
Michal Makeš, Gábor Kismarty-Lechner, Bence Boldizs, Szymon Jabłonski and Jakub Wyszomirski rounded off the top ten.
The first race will be streamed live at www.tcr-series.com, tomorrow at 10:05 local time (Central Europe Summer Time).
