Adam Shepherd seals late deal with Area Motorsport

TCR UK Race winner Adam Shepherd is a late addition to the grid for TCR UK, as he will be back with his Hyundai i30 N TCR.

Shepherd, who reunites with Rob Bakers Area Motorsport for the second season, is looking to add to his debut win at Donington Park, where he secured pole position and followed that up with his first win.

Shepherd was one of the drivers to watch in the second half of the 2022 season; he was on course for the race one win at Castle Combe before a puncture robbed him of victory in sight of the finish line on the last lap.

“We’re delighted to be able to start the 2023 TCR UK season and build on last year. We had a mixed 2022 with a few issues but showed great pace taking many podiums, a race win, and a lap record. We currently only have the budget for the first few rounds, but are looking to hit the ground running, push for wins, and work hard to secure more budget as we aim for the overall championship," Shepherd said.
