WSC Group is delighted to announce a new collaboration with GulfSport Racing that has just taken over the promotion of the Gulf ProCar series, the longest running GT and Touring Car race series in the Emirates. This agreement brings a TCR class within the Gulf ProCar.
Martin Hope, Director of GulfSport Racing said: “We feel that that our commitment to Gulf ProCar got the nod of approval from the local stakeholders considering the great support and positive reactions we are getting. Having said that, one of our main ambitions is to make Gulf ProCar attractive for international teams and drivers, therefore one of our first actions was to reach out to TCR. There is no doubt that TCR is very active and thanks to their professionalism they understand how attractive the UAE is now for the international racing community. It made sense to quickly form this arrangement to attract TCR entries into the Gulf ProCar.”
Marcello Lotti, WSC Group President echoed: “We are delighted with this new agreement with GulfSport Racing for the Gulf ProCar series. We think that United Arab Emirates is a strategic region for automotive market, and we are confident that thanks to the professional support from GulfSport Racing TCR can finally find its place in the sun and win the favour of local teams and drivers.”
