Six drivers from the TCR International Series were invited to take part in a pedal boat race as part of the promotional events for the Macau Grand Prix weekend.
They were split in three pairs – Tiago Monteiro with Gianni Morbidelli, Dušan Borković with James Nash and Stefano Comini with Jean-Karl Vernay – who were competing against three teams from each of the other main races: the Motorcycle Grand Prix, the F3 World Cup and the GT World Cup.
The race was won by a bikers’ boat, while the Leopard Racing team of Comini and Vernay finished in third position.
Before the race, children from a local primary school joined the drivers and riders for a family picture and were given a short ride on the pedal boats.
