A pair of exhibition races for TCR cars in Indonesia

Following an agreement between WSC Group and Superstars Motor Sport Indonesia, TCR cars appeared in a pair of exhibition races at Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit in the frame of a Porsche Sprint Challenge Indonesia event.

Four TCR cars took part: two second-generation Audi RS 3 LMS machines for Ferrel Fadhil Pratama (LFN-Sederanha Motorsport) and Glenn Aringga Nirwan (BRM Motorsport), the Hyundai Elantra N driven by Dypo Fitramadhan and Umar Abdullah’s Honda Civic Type R FL5. Both the Hyundai and the Honda were run by the Delta Garage Racing Team.

Fadhil set pole position in Qualifying, narrowly beating Nirwan and Abdullah by 20 and 58 thousandths of a second; he then won Race 1 from Nirwan and Abdullah. Fadhil encored in the second race, with Fitramadhan finishing second ahead of Nirwan.

Superstars Motor Sport Indonesia will continue to promote the TCR class in a pair of events in January.
