Norbert MIchelisz, Esteban Guerrieri, Yvan Muller and Thed Björk are the four drivers who will be fighting for the WTCR title during the season's finale at Sepang International Circuit.
Michelisz (BRC Squadra Corse, Hyundai i30 N) is currently leading the standings with 316 points, nine more than Guerrieri (Münnich Motorsport, Honda Civic FK7). Muller and Björk (both Cyan Racing, Lynk&Co 03) are lying in third and fourth positions with gaps of 11 and 28 points respectively when 85 points will be on offer in Malaysia.
In the Teams' championship, Cyan Racing leads over BRC Squadra Corse and Münnich Motorsport by 72 and 88 points respectively.
The WTCR competitors will hit the track on Friday and Sunday only, as on Saturday the circuit will host the 8-hour EWC bike race.
Friday will be dedicated to Practice and Qualifying sessions, while all the three final races of the championship will be held on Sunday.
Both the second qualifying and the third race will take place at dusk, Friday at 19:30 and Sunday at 20:10 respectively.
