A CUPRA León Competición for Markussen in TCR Denmark

Markussen Racing will switch from Peugeot to CUPRA for the 2022 TCR Denmark series season.
The team has purchased a new CUPRA León Competición for last year’s runner-up Michael Markussen, replacing the Peugeot 308 it ran in the Danish series since 2020.
“It’s with a big thanks to our sponsors, family and everyone around us that we can proudly present our new weapon for the season,” said Markussen. “I’m really looking forward to getting started and completing the first kilometres in the new car.”
Markussen took one race win and ten podium results in 2021, finishing runner-up behind champion Kasper Jensen.
