The TCR Technical Department has drafted the Balance of Performance for the new Honda Civic Type R TCR.
The Japanese car has been allocated 40 kilos of BoP in addition to the minimum weight of 1285 kilos. As a result, the new Civic FK7 will be 20 kilos heavier compared to the previous model the Civic FB in both its 2016 and 2017 TCR configurations.
On top of this, the new Honda’s power will be reduced to 95% with a maximum boost pressure of 2480 mbar.
This BoP will be applied immediately and until further notice; therefore it must be adopted from this week’s 24H Dubai.
